NewMark Merrill takes title of Dillard’s property

LONGMONT – Twin Peaks Mall will be razed starting early this summer to make way for The Village at the Peaks shopping center, now that NewMark Merrill Mountain States holds the title to the Dillard’s department store building, according to Allen Ginsborg, managing director at NewMark.

Fort Collins-based NewMark Merrill Mountain States – the project redeveloper – received the title to the department store building on Tuesday, Feb. 18. Dillard’s Inc. (NYSE:DDS ) had held veto power over any redevelopment at the mall.
