Trader Joe’s confirms Fort Collins store

FORT COLLINS — Trader Joe’s signed a lease to open a store at the Square in Fort Collins, the Monrovia-based grocery chain said Thursday.

Trader Joe’s said it will open a 12,200-square-foot location at the northeast corner of College Avenue and Horsetooth Road late next year. The Fort Collins store would represent Trader Joe’s fifth location in Colorado.

Trader Joe’s is not releasing additional details about the Fort Collins store at this time, a spokeswoman told the Business Report.

Trader Joe’s said it planned to open its first three locations in Colorado at 8 a.m. Feb. 14 in Boulder, Denver and Greenwood Village.…
