Neve Designs’ CEO takes on smaller role

BOULDER – The co-founder and chief executive officer of Neve Designs, a company known for its ski sweaters, is stepping away from its day-to-day operations.

Tom Irvine, who helped start the Boulder-based company in 2002, will take on an advisory role, according to a press statement. Doug Saunders has been named general manager. Saunders has held management jobs in several ski and outdoor industry companies, Neve Designs said.

“From finance and design to staffing and distribution, Neve is in a great place right now,” Irvine said in the press statement. “I can confidently leave the day-to-day running of the company in the capable hands of my successor and move on to the next challenge in my career.”
