Commercial Solar is a big investment, but not an overwhelming one

Solar offers a significant economic benefit for commercial property owners while also positively impacting the environment and offering a path to compliance for new municipal requirements like Energize Denver. A local, experienced solar installer will help you navigate the complexities of commercial solar to achieve financial success for your project.

Sherwood Neiss, cofounder of the Crowdfund Professional Association and a partner of Crowdfund Capital Advisers, is to give the Wednesday evening keynote speech, “Where Crowdfunding Began and Where We Are Today.”

RocketHub cofounder and chief executive Brian Meece will follow with, “What Works in Crowdfunding.” RocketHub is a website and crowdfunding platform that helps artists, scientists, entrepreneurs and philanthropists raise money for projects.

A panel also will devote some attention to the consequences of the JOBS Act, legislation passed earlier this year. The act will allow small investors to buy equity in small companies.

The Securities and Exchange Commission is in the process of writing regulations governing that type of crowdfunding. Panelists will discuss the SEC rules and what kind of companies could benefit the most from them.

The event starts at 4 p.m. Wednesday and continues through 6 p.m. Thursday. Additional information about the event, including registration, is available at simplycrowdfunding.com.
