Gas prices decline in Greeley

The average price for a gallon of gas declined for the fifth straight week in Greeley, but remained flat in Fort Collins, the AAA said Wednesday.

Gas prices sank 2 cents to $3.47 in Greeley, but remained unchanged at $3.48 in Fort Collins, according to a weekly AAA report.

Except in Colorado Springs, where the average gallon of gas cost $3.44, Greeley gas prices were the least expensive in the state of the locations tracked by AAA. Vail gas cost the most at $3.99.
