Center in Broomfield to aid businesses

BROOMFIELD – Business people in Broomfield soon will have a new place to go to receive help in improving how they run their companies.

The Business Resource Center is scheduled to open on Wednesday, July 11, inside the Broomfield Chamber of Commerce at 2095 W. 6th Ave., Suite 109. The center will offer business resources and services to local business owners, including business advising sessions.

The center is opening through a partnership between the Broomfield Chamber of Commerce, the city and county of Broomfield and the North Metro Small Business Development Center. Other partners include community volunteers, the Broomfield Workforce Center and Mamie Doud Eisenhower Public Library. Specific funding details of the center were not immediately available before the Boulder County Business Report’s midday deadline.

As Mental Health Awareness Month unfolds in Colorado, it serves as a reminder of the collective responsibility to prioritize mental well-being.

As part of the opening, a business resource forum will be held from 8 to 10 a.m. on July 11 at the Omni Interlocken Resort, 500 Interlocken Blvd. in Broomfield. From 3 to 7 p.m. that day, the BRC will hold a grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony.

An open house featuring free seminars, business advising sessions, BRC tours and local art will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, July 12.
