Carbon Valley Chamber of Commerce to Host Firestone Candidate’s Forum March 21

The Carbon Valley Chamber of Commerce will host a Firestone Candidate’s forum on March 21 at 6 p.m. at the Carbon Valley Regional Library, 7 Park Ave. in Firestone. The forum will serve as an opportunity for candidates to answer questions from the Chamber regarding their outlook on Town of Firestone issues. Residents will also be able to ask questions of the candidates.

Positions open on the Town of Firestone Board of Trustees include the mayor, who serves a two-year term, and three trustees, who serve four-year terms. Incumbent Mayor Chad Auer is rerunning for the mayor seat, as well as incumbent Trustees Paul Sorensen and Matt Holcomb. Current Planning Commissioner George Heath is seeking the third trustee seat.
