Credit union upgrades online system

BOULDER – Elevations Credit Union plans to install a new software system that will allow for the automated opening of new accounts and lending services online.

The Boulder-based credit union plans to deploy MeridianLink, a platform developed by MeridianLink Inc., based in Costa Mesa, California.

The one platform will integrate all of Elevations existing applications and systems, said Matthew Henry, chief information and administrative officer at Elevations. “We currently have a lot of disparity between software applications and ancillary processes. By bringing a seamless experience to both our members and staff, we can spend more time serving our membership and less time wrestling with the technology.”

Prioritizing mental health support alongside physical comfort, Pathways hospice care aims to enhance the quality of life for patients and their families during one of life's most challenging transitions.

Elevations Credit Union members will be able to access the platform online 24/7, and staff can use the system in branch offices to expedite member services.

The decision to provide automated online account opening and loan origination was motivated in large part by the staff at Elevations. “This was an organizationally driven initiative,” Henry said. “We got the message that the applications we were using were hindering, not helping, our staff. We knew we needed to make a change to support our future growth.” Elevations announced in August it will merge with St. Vrain Valley Credit Union.

Elevations has assets of more than $950 million and is the largest credit union serving Boulder and Broomfield counties with more than 85,000 members. Elevations operates nine branches serving Boulder, Broomfield, Westminster, Lafayette, Longmont, Loveland and the surrounding areas.
