Water cluster teams with Imagine H2O

FORT COLLINS – San Francisco-based nonprofit Imagine H2O and the
Colorado Water Innovation Cluster have agreed to jointly provide
entrepreneurs with opportunities, tools and resources to build
successful water businesses.

Both programs provide support and mentoring to entrepreneurs and
businesses that are advancing water innovation. Imagine H2O also
sponsors competitions with cash prizes to inspire entrepreneurs in the
field of water resources.

“This agreement creates new opportunities for Colorado water
innovators,´ said Jeff Throckmorton, chairman of the water cluster, in a
prepared statement. “Partnerships with organizations like Imagine H2O
will fuel innovation, collaboration and growth throughout the region.”

Imagine H2O’s annual business plan competition attracts a global field
of entrants judged by a panel of water experts. The winning companies
enter Imagine H2O’s Accelerator Program where they receive professional
resources and market insight.

The Colorado Water Innovation Cluster, launched in 2010, focuses on
innovative and entrepreneurial ways to grow the water resource industry.
The city of Fort Collins is a founding member of the CWIC.

The organizations have planned a water entrepreneurship workshop at the
Rocky Mountain Innosphere in Fort Collins on Oct. 13, designed for those
who wish to accelerate their knowledge of new and emerging business
models and water technologies.
