Organizations collaborate on Larimer County business survey

FORT COLLINS – Several community organizations, working with local
government, are asking primary employers for their input on the business
environment in Larimer County.

The Larimer County Business Retention and Expansion Survey program is a
collaboration of the Northern Colorado Economic Development Corp., the
Fort Collins Area and Loveland chambers of commerce and the cities of
Fort Collins and Loveland. The program is designed to establish
relationships with local primary employers and to better understand
trends affecting primary employers.

Commercial Solar is a big investment, but not an overwhelming one

Solar offers a significant economic benefit for commercial property owners while also positively impacting the environment and offering a path to compliance for new municipal requirements like Energize Denver. A local, experienced solar installer will help you navigate the complexities of commercial solar to achieve financial success for your project.

“As organizations that work closely with businesses on a daily basis, we
appreciate and understand how important primary employers are to
Larimer County,´ said NCEDC Director of Business Retention and Expansion
Kelly Peters. “Our hope is that providing an electronic survey will
help us reach a greater number of employers.”

The NCEDC has been contacting primary employers – firms of any size that
export at least 50 percent of their goods or services outside the
Northern Colorado region – to better understand their needs, barriers
they may be encountering and opportunities for expansion, since 2004.
This is the first time an electronic survey has been used to gather the
information.

Local employers can participate by completing the short survey available at: http://bit.ly/LarimerBusinessSurvey.

For more information, contact Peters at 970-667-0905 or kpeters@ncedc.com.
