JBS USA plans Iowa warehouse

GREELEY – JBS USA Holdings Inc., headquartered in Greeley, plans to build a $40 million warehouse and distribution center near its pork production facility in Marshalltown, Iowa.

The company said in a news release that the 100,000-square-foot warehouse and distribution center will be called the Million Midwest Distribution Center and handle both fresh and frozen products.

The state of Iowa provided $3.9 million in incentives to help support construction of the pork facility expansion, which is expected to be complete by March 2011.
