Bryant leads mental-health ‘crisis team’

BOULDER – When someone has a mental-health issue or crisis, Jane C. Bryant’s emergency psychiatric service team is there to help.

The team, also known as the “crisis team,” is one of 30 clinical teams at The Mental Health Center Serving Boulder and Broomfield Counties. Bryant’s team of 28 includes people with master’s degrees in counseling or social work. There are an additional 10 volunteers and interns that work on her team.

“We are the emergency service for the mental health center,” she said. “We are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.”
