NISP Farm Rally set for June 30

EATON – Northern Colorado farmers, residents and public officials will hold a rally in support of the Northern Integrated Supply Project on Tuesday, June 30, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Russ and John Leffler farm just west of Eaton. The site is on the south side of Weld County Road 74, seven miles north of Greeley. The event will feature speakers from the farming and livestock community, agricultural industry representatives and elected officials, as well as a barbecue lunch.

NISP is a proposed regional water supply project that includes Glade Reservior north of Horsetooth Reservoir near Fort Collins and Galeton Reservoir northeast of Eaton. It is coordinated by the Northern Colorado Water Conservancy District on behalf of 15 Front Range water providers.
