NFIB hosts Small-Business Day at Capitol

DENVER – Colorado small-business owners will have their day at the Capitol on March 11.

Gov. Bill Ritter, House Speaker Andrew Romanoff and Senate President Peter Groff will address a gathering of small-business owners from around the state at an event hosted by the National Federation of Independent Business.

“It is important that all small-business owners have an opportunity to know what is going on inside our Capitol that is going to have an effect on the way they do business,´ said Tony Gagliardi, Colorado state director for the NFIB. “So important have our annual Small-Business Days at the Capitol events become that at last year’s, the governor promised us 15 minutes and wound up spending an hour listening to the concerns of entrepreneurs and exchanging ideas with them.”

Small-Business Day at the Capitol is open to all small-business owners in Colorado. The cost to attend is $15 if registered by March 7. Reservations can be made online at www.NFIB.com/CO or by calling or e-mailing NFIB Member Support Manager Tyler Nifong at 303-831-6099 or tyler.nifong@nfib.org.
