Local faculty productive

Faculty members at Colorado State University and the University of Northern Colorado are among the most productive, according to a new study.

The 2006-07 Faculty Scholarly Productivity Index, produced by Academic Analytics of Stony Brook, N.Y., takes into account the number of publications, federal grant dollars awarded and honors and awards received by various departments. The index reviewed 7,400 programs in 172 disciplines at 375 institutions.
