Weld jobs, wage gains lead Larimer

A report by the U.S. Department of Labor detailing job and wage growth in the fourth quarter of 2006 shows Weld County achieving higher rates of employment and wage increases than neighboring Larimer County.

The report, which looks at employment and wages in counties across the nation, shows Weld’s employment numbers grew by 3.4 percent in the fourth quarter of 2006 compared to the same period one year earlier. Larimer’s employment numbers went up by 2.3 percent.
