Intermodal transit center could benefit south Weld
Seven years have passed since Colorado Demographer Jim Westkott, in a Business Report interview, said southern Weld County was in jeopardy of becoming nothing but a sprawling bedroom community for north metro Denver.
Unchecked residential development in an area that is the fastest growing in the state, and one of the fastest growing in the nation, would lead to an imbalance between the numbers of homeowners and businesses that would diminish the quality of life for all.
