PRPA searches for new CFO

FORT COLLINS – Platte River Power Authority will lose CFO Robert Abiecunas at the end of May.

Abiecunas will retire after more than 20 years with PRPA, the company announced today.

“Much of Platte River’s excellent financial results can be credited to Bob,´ said Brian Moeck, PRPA’s general manager, in a prepared statement. “He has orchestrated a fine strategic financial plan and has done a great job managing debt and reserves.”

Of late, PRPA has received superior bond ratings — AA from all three rating agencies.
