UAP announces dividend for shareholders

GREELEY – UAP Holding Corp. (Nasdaq: UAPH) will pay out a quarterly dividend payment of nearly 19 cents per share, the company announced Tuesday.

Greeley-based UAP will make the payments on June 1 to stockholders of record as of the close of business on May 15. 

The dividend matches that offered for the third fiscal quarter.  UAP’s fourth quarter and fiscal year ended at the end of February, but results have yet to be released.  For the third quarter, UAP reported a net loss of $9.3 million – down from a loss of $30.9 million in the third quarter in 2004.
