PVHS recognized for use of information technology

FORT COLLINS – Information Week magazine has selected Fort Collins-based Poudre Valley Health System to its 16th annual list of 500 organizations that best use information technology in their business practices.
The list includes companies such as Hewlett-Packard Co., General Motors and Cisco Systems.
The Information Week award is the second recognition this year of PVHS’s use of technology.
Earlier this year PVHS was named by Hospitals & Health Network as one of the nation’s 101 hospitals and health care systems that make significant use of electronic technology to improve patient care and safety.
