Lodging report: State occupancy rates up, costs down

The Rocky Mountain Lodging Report showed occupancy rates for June are up and daily lodging costs are down for the state and for Northern Colorado cities.
Colorado hotels, resorts and lodges saw an average occupancy of 66.9 percent and an average daily rate of $91.83. In June 2003, occupancy was 65.8 percent and the daily rate was $92.75.
