Count on real work beginning after merger deal closes

As corporate attorneys, my colleagues and I regularly manage the legal details of complex mergers and acquisitions. But outside lawyers don’t often get an ?inside? perspective on the nuts and bolts of actually bringing two companies together after a deal closes.

Just over one year ago in Boulder, however, we lived it. When the law firm of Chrisman, Bynum & Johnson merged with Faegre & Benson, we found ourselves in the same position as many of our clients.
