MaxOptix changing name, headquarters, product line

BOULDER — If April 15 still looms large in your mind, then consider the case of Jim Watson, president and chief operating officer of MaxOptix Corp.

In the next weeks, Watson will have changed the name of his secondary-storage company, moved its manufacturing operations overseas, moved its principal operations from Boulder to Louisville and pretty much changed the market direction of the entire operation. It makes one wonder exactly how he will deal with his personal tax obligations on that infamous date.
