I-25/U.S. 34 interchange takes shape under watchful eyes

LOVELAND — Some say the growth around the Interstate 25 and U.S. Highway 34 intersection has been prompted by government intervention in Fort Collins. Others say it’s due to the burgeoning population and a healthy economy.

But everybody agrees that the developments, which focus mostly on commercial and retail segments, will promote a tri-city relationship among Greeley, Fort Collins and Loveland.

“I think it’s a natural progression along I-25,´ said Don Churchwell, executive director of the Loveland Economic Development Council. “It’s an opportunity to bring quality employers to the area, and it’ll give a lot of our young people an opportunity…
