Gold Rush card means great senior bonuses, discounts

BOULDER — Seniors now can get a new discount card.

The Gold Rush card, available through Boulder Senior Services for seniors age 60 and older, offers deals on selected senior center classes, trips, sports and special events.

Along with the card, Boulder Senior Services offers membership in the Gold Rush Club. Discounts, bonuses, special premiums and parties are planned for Gold Rush members.

The current Senior Quarterly magazine lists Gold Rush bargains offered by: the Boulder Philharmonic; the Boulder Community Hospital 55 Plus Wellness Program; Laudisio’s; Mike’s Camera; Boulder Running Co.; The Atrium; Eastern Mountain Sports; Pearle Vision; Tom’s Tavern; Ginger & Pickles; Spectra Hair Design; Karen’s in the Country; Mary Kay; Indochine; Ridgeway and Romeo & Vincent LLC. Solid Gold major sponsors include Investors Independent Trust Co., Colorado Community First National Bank and the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory.

Award-winning local artist Vicki Anderson created Jedediah and Ike, two old prospector figures on display at the senior centers. Channel 8 has aired programs describing Gold Rush discounts. And Gold Rush polo shirts and sweatshirts are available for sale.
