John Meyer has joined The Northern Colorado Business Report as an account executive. Meyer most recently taught fourth-graders at Western Hills Elementary School in Adams County˜s Mapleton Public Schools.
At The Business Report, Meyer will handle the banking and finance, professional services and education categories.

Christine Thompson has been named production manager for The Northern Colorado Business Report. She has 10 years˜ experience in publishing, including five years at GIS World Inc. of Fort Collins. She most recently served as supervisor of technical services for Unicover Corp. of Cheyenne.
At The Business Report, Thompson will coordinate production and printing of the newspaper, the Northern Front Range R&D/Manufacturers Directory, the Northern Front Range Book of Lists and other publications. She˜ oversee a staff of two: Art Director David Badders and Production Assistant Deanna Estes.
James Rath has joined The Business Report as advertising manager. Rath spent eight years at the Wyoming Tribune-Eagle in Cheyenne, where he most recently served as sales manager in the advertising department.
A 1984 graduate of the University of Wyoming with a bachelor of arts degree in journalism, Rath and his wife, Betty, and children, Kelly and Chris, will be relocating soon to the Northern Front Range area.
At The Business Report, Rath will coordinate the newspaper˜s sales force, working in concert with Jeff Nuttall. Rath will oversee sales-training initiatives and will assist Nuttall in daily operations of the advertising staff. Rath also will handle the health-care, high-tech and retail categories.
