According to Northern Water spokesman Brian Werner, in light of recent events, the meeting will be oriented toward issues surrounding the flood.
“A good portion of (the meeting) will be centered around the flood: response, what we can do, and how people can get help,” Werner said.
James Eklund, director of the Colorado Water Conservation Board, is scheduled to be the luncheon speaker. Additional speakers include Nolan Doesken, the state climatologist, and a representative from United States Geological Survey.
Individuals can register for the meeting online here or by calling (970) 622-2220.
Werner said the meeting usually draws between 150 and 200 people.
