Research demonstrates the link between academic achievement and physical activity, according to a release from Kaiser.
Schools are eligible to apply for funding for the 2013-14 school year if they are located in Kaiser’s Denver-Boulder, Fort Collins, Loveland, Greeley, Colorado Springs or Pueblo service areas.
Districts must submit a proposal and application customized for their district and schools. The deadline for application is Oct. 14, 2013.
