Journey Homes pays $8M for Water Valley Ranch land

WINDSOR — Greeley-based homebuilder Journey Homes has acquired 120 acres of land in developer Martin Lind’s master-planned community of Water Valley Ranch in Windsor, where it plans to build 200 single-family homes.

Journey Homes, through the entity Pelican Farm Investments LLC, paid $8 million to Trollco Inc., an entity registered to Lind, for the land that is in the northwest portion of Water Valley Ranch.

Larry Buckendorf, president of Journey Homes, on Tuesday deferred questions about the land purchase and home-building project to Lind.
