Canopy Boulder accelerator puts brakes on San Francisco expansion
Colorado’s legal cannabis industry is flourishing to the tune of nearly $1 billion in sales during 2015. But at least one Boulder company is putting the brakes on expansion as the green gold rush takes time to develop in other states.
The Camera reports that the Canopy Boulder accelerator, which is geared toward startups in the cannabis industry, has delayed adding a San Francisco cohort until fall due to a lack of applicants. Canopy Boulder’s spring cohort in Boulder begins Feb. 29.
