Boulder building housing The Walrus Saloon sells for $6.9M
BOULDER — Local investor Scott Littlefield closed recently on the $6.9 million purchase of the downtown Boulder building that houses The Walrus Saloon, with plans of renovating the office space on the upper floors.
The three-story building at 1911 11th St. sits at the northwest corner of 11th and Walnut. It was built in 1916, designed originally as a grain-storage facility.
Littlefield purchased the 23,000-square-foot building from John Thacker.
The Walrus occupies the basement of the building, with three floors above.
