Aspen lodging ranked No. 1 most expensive

Aspen is the most expensive ski resort town for lodging in North America, according to a report released Monday by Cheaphotels.org.

The finding comes from an analysis of 30 ski resorts. Cheaphotels.org ranked the resorts by conducting a survey examining the minimum cost of a three-star hotel room or higher at or near the resorts.

The average nightly stay in Aspen will cost $241 this spring, according to the report.
