W Aspen hotel to open in July

ASPEN — The new W Aspen hotel will open for business in July.

The hotel and a related apartment complex called Sky Residences at W Aspen, are being built at the base of Aspen Mountain, replacing the Sky Hotel.

The Aspen Times reported that Northridge Capital LLC of Washington, D.C., is the developer along with Aspen developer John Sarpa. The W Hotels brand is affiliated with Marriott International.
