Based in Stephenville, Texas, the United States Team Roping Championships has more than 30,000 members worldwide. TRIAD uses proprietary software and a data-management system that collects and tabulates performance data in real-time.
“With over 100 national qualifying events, Regional Finals and National Finals in late October, the USTRC has a massive footprint of year-round roping competitions,” said Andy Clurman, Active Interest’s president and chief executive, in a prepared statement. “Combined with our World Series of Team Roping’s 140 qualifying events and Las Vegas Championships in December, the USTRC and WSTR represent an unrivaled event franchise in the sport of team roping.”
In addition, Active Interest announced that Tom Winsor, the former general manager of AIM’s Equine Group, has rejoined the company as senior vice president of Business Development & Equine.
