BizWest announces 2017 Northern Colorado Women of Distinction

LOVELAND — Eleven women and one man who live and work in Larimer and Weld counties will be honored for their achievements in business, philanthropic and government organizations at BizWest’s 2017 Northern Colorado Women of Distinction awards in April.

This year’s honorees are:

Banking and Finance: Sue Wagner, Bank of Colorado.

Business and Business Services: Mindy McCloughan, Loveland Chamber of Commerce.

Higher Education: Sharon Clinebell, Monfort College of Business, University of Northern Colorado.

Education: Michelle Scallon, Windsor High School.

Exceptional Volunteer:  Carolyn Gattis, United Way of Weld County.

Government, Energy and Utilities: Joni Friedman, Larimer County Workforce Center.

Health Care: Audrey Snyder, University of Northern Colorado School of Nursing.

Leading Lady of a Lifetime: Laurie Steele, UCHealth board of directors and Burns Marketing.

Nonprofit – Creative Industry: Rhonda Welch, city of Greeley.

Nonprofit – Human Services: Amy Pezzani, Food Bank of Larimer County.

Real Estate, Construction and Development: Connie Dohn, Dohn Construction.

Outstanding Mentor: Gordon Thibedeau, United Way of Larimer County.

The event will be from 7 to 9:30 a.m., Wednesday, April 12, at the Embassy Suites, 4705 Clydesdale Parkway, Loveland.
