Woodward announces quarterly dividend

FORT COLLINS – The board of directors of Woodward Inc. (Nasdaq: WWD) has
approved a quarterly cash dividend of 7 cents per share payable Sept. 1
for shareholders of record on Aug. 18.

The dividend announcement follows a July 25 fiscal third-quarter report
that showed net sales of $438.5 million, a 23 percent increase over the
same quarter in 2010.

Woodward’s earnings per share for the third quarter were 51 cents compared to 45 cents for the same quarter a year earlier.

In midday trading, shares of Woodward were up 25 cents at $34.90.
