New hotel planned at 2534

JOHNSTOWN – A new Homewood Suites by Hilton hotel will be built in the 2534 development at the southeast corner of Interstate 25 and U.S. Highway 34 in Johnstown.

The 100-room hotel, which will feature all suite rooms, is expected to break ground “within the next few months” and be ready to open by spring of 2009, according to Shawna Brown, a spokeswoman for Intermountain Management LLC, based in Monroe, La.

Intermountain Management paid $1,544,164 for 2.55 acres in the 542-acre, 2534 mixed-use planned community that features retail, office, light industrial and high-end residential near one of Northern Colorado’s busiest intersections.
