11 honored by BizWest with Bravo! Entrepreneur Awards

FORT COLLINS — Eleven business people from Northern Colorado were honored Wednesday night as winners of BizWest Media’s 2015 Bravo! Entrepreneur Awards.

Cliff Buchholz of Miramont Lifestyle Fitness received the award for Fort Collins along with Masoud Shirazi of Shirazi Benefits for Greeley, Eric Holsapple and Don Marostica of Loveland Commercial for Loveland and John Shaw of DaVinci Sign Systems for outlying communities.

Jeff Lindauer accepted the Emerging Entrepreneur award on behalf of Jeff McPhie, Russ Wall and Robin Marisco of Loveland-based Spring 44, producer of the American Craft Spirits brand of alcoholic beverages. Rick Sutton accepted the Regional Spirit Award presented to Banner Health, and Bonnie Dean of Greeley-based marketing firm Bonnie Dean and Associates received the Lifetime Achievement Award.

The awards, which celebrate the spirit of entrepreneurship by honoring regional business leaders who have had a positive economic and cultural impact on Northern Colorado, were presented at a ceremony at the Drake Centre in Fort Collins.

“We salute their tenacity, their creativity and their drive,” said BizWest publisher Jeff Nuttall, who presented the awards.

Greeley — Richard and Brenda Lucio, Coyote Grill, Palomino, Blue Agave restaurants; and Arlo Richardson, Mineral Resources.

Loveland — David Yowell, MM Solutions; and Jerry Helgeson, American Eagle Distributing.

Outlying communities — Byron Collins, Harmony Club; and Rob Graves, Morning Fresh Dairy and Noosa Yoghurt.
