JR Engineering named Eli Farney, PE, PTOE, principal. Farney, a public works team client manager, joined JR Engineering in 2001 and has an undergraduate degree from CSU Pueblo. He has dedicated his career to marketing public works projects and managing transportation projects. He had a pivotal role since 2013 in expanding the firm’s traffic engineering and transportation planning services. He managed more than 100 traffic impact studies, oversaw design and installation of more than 50 traffic signals, led projects such as the Washington Street widening in Thornton and the Zone 3 transmission waterline in Erie, and served as Town of Severance traffic engineer. He looks forward to growing JR Engineering’s public works portfolio across the Rocky Mountain West.
