Estrins plan to open distillery in downtown Greeley

GREELEY – Matt Estrin and his wife, Trista, plan to open Tower 56 Distillery next year in downtown Greeley.

The Greeley Tribune reports that the Estrins signed the lease for the distillery’s location, 825 9th St., Unit B, overlooking Lincoln Park, earlier this month. The 3,700-square-foot craft distillery will feature an industrial and rustic-looking tasting room, bar and a private tasting room, and will offer a full craft cocktail menu, tastings and distillery tours. It’ll also fill a hole that has been vacant for at least two decades downtown, according to Matt Estrin.

The Estrins will manufacture everything from bourbon whiskey to flavored vodka, and some liqueurs as well. The Tower 56 Bourbon will be the distillery’s flagship drink, and Estrin said he is in the process for naming the other drinks.
