Warehouse accelerator hires Pederson as executive director

LOVELAND — The Warehouse Business Accelerator, a public-private regionally supported nonprofit economic-development organization, has appointed Bryan Pederson as executive director.

Pederson replaces Kelly Peters-Jones who left the organization at the beginning of the year to become the economic-development director for the city of Loveland.

Pederson has more than 10 years of regional business and community-development experience that includes leadership of Thrivent Financial’s community-engagement initiatives in Central California and formation of the Safe at Home program with Rebuilding Together Peninsula.

The Warehouse program works with companies that typically are graduates from the incubator phase.

“They have a tested product and are ready to ‘scale up’ to bring their product to market, generate revenue and hire employees,” said Jay Dokter, founder of the Warehouse. 

The program provides expert advice, capital, supply-chain partners, research resources, market connections and physical resources to help companies accelerate the growth of jobs and revenue.

The Warehouse’s primary funding source comes from the Loveland Business Partnership, which is made up of  business leaders in Loveland, with collaboration and support from the city of Loveland and other organizations. The Warehouse is eligible to receive funding through sponsorship, in-kind donations, grants and government sources.
