Greeley approves 400-home subdivision in west part of city

GREELEY — Another large-scale residential development is coming to west Greeley.

The Greeley Tribune reports that the Greeley Planning Commission on Tuesday approved a 428-lot subdivision on the southwest corner of 10th Street and 83rd Avenue. The Trails at Sheep Draw project, developed by Journey Homes, will also include 30 acres reserved for multifamily housing.

Commissioners expressed some concerns about the presence of active oil and gas wells in the area, with developers promising to identify flow lines and ensure their safety.
