Spyder Active forms division
BOULDER – Spyder Active Sports Inc., a skiwear manufacturer, formed a division that will focus primarily on mountain athletes and mountain professionals in an effort to reach a broader market.
Boulder-based Spyder’s new Summyt Division will focus primarily on ski schools, ski patrols and mountain operations, such as lift line and groomer operators, as well as racers.
Phil Shettig, the company’s race and resort general manager, said the new division will operate independently from Spyder, yet share some commonalities.
