Larimer County Attorney Hass resigns

Larimer County – After a 20-year stint as county attorney, George Hass will step down from his post April 30.

County spokeswoman Deni Larue said Hass, who turns 70 on May 2, has been planning the move for several months. Hass was not available for comment.

Larimer County Commissioners, who appoint their attorney, have selected Deputy County Attorney Jeannine Haag as his replacement. She is to assume her new post May 1.
