Vestas to hold September job fair

WINDSOR – Denmark-based Vestas Wind Systems A/S, which opened a wind turbine blade production facility in Windsor earlier this year, will conduct a job fair on Sept. 19 at The Ranch in Loveland.

Vestas Blades America Inc. is partnering with SOS Professional Search and SOS Staffing to recruit and hire needed personnel. At full production, the plant will employ more than 800 people and produce more than 2,000 blades each year, according to a news release from SOS.

The Regional Career and Information Forum will be held at The Ranch/Larimer County Fairgrounds and Event Complex, near the intersection of I-25 and U.S. Highway 34. Three separate sessions will be held in the First National Bank Building’s West Hall from 8 to 10 a.m., noon to 2 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m.

Vestas and SOS representatives will be on site all day to answer questions, provide information and give updates to already registered employee candidates. All positions being filled are for direct hire, full-time benefited positions at the Windsor facility.
