D.R. Horton to build homes in Water Valley

WINDSOR – National homebuilder D.R. Horton has purchased finished lots
in Water Valley and plans to start building five different models in
coming weeks.

The company, which has a Colorado office in the Denver Tech Center, is
building model homes from its 7 Diamond Collection priced from the upper
$300s to the upper $400s.

Martin Lind, Water Valley Land Co. president, said Horton’s purchase is a
sign that the homebuilding market is beginning to show signs of
optimism.

D.R. Horton is currently building homes in Fort Collins, Timnath and Windsor.

Water Valley is a 1,500-acre master-planned community in Windsor founded in 1996.
