Allegiant ends flights to NoCo

After serving the Fort Collins/Loveland airport for nine years, Allegiant Airlines ended its Northern Colorado flights on Monday.
Allegiant cited the lack of a control tower for its decision to sever ties with the airport earlier this summer. But that’s not stopping the facility from looking for a new carrier.
“We’re ready to accommodate,” says Airport Director Jason Licon. “I think it would be pretty much a no-brainer for another airline to approach us that would desire to start services.”
