DACONO – KB Home on Friday announced the grand opening of its 176-home Sweetgrass Community at the northwest corner of Weld County Road 8 and York Street in Dacono.

The neighborhood will include a mix of single-story ranch homes and two-story homes ranging in size from 1,565 square feet to 3,462 square feet on one-eighth and one-seventh acre lots.

A KB spokesman said model homes would be open for first previews this weekend.

Buyers can customize the homes with two to six bedrooms, two to four and a half baths, and two- or three-car garages. Prices range from $280,000 to $366,000.

Each of the homes will be Energy Star certified.

“With Dacono’s striking natural scenery, direct highway access to the mountains as well as urban destinations, and dynamic local economy, we believe home shoppers will find Sweetgrass a wonderful place to call home,” Matt Mandino, president of KB Home’s Colorado division, said in a press release.
