40 Under Forty - 2025 Honoree

Civil Engineer

City of Loveland

If you could give your younger self one piece of advice, what would that be?

I’ve developed a bit of a personal motto in recent years – “life is long”. Life is full of peaks and valleys. No hardship has to be forever, and opportunities will arise often when least expected. It would have done my younger self some good to have a little perspective!

Who do you count as your greatest mentor(s) that have helped you succeed in your personal and professional life?

Those who I have looked up to most in my personal life and career have demonstrated a great sense of integrity. They’ve encouraged and empowered others to make sound decisions, especially when the right answer isn’t necessarily the easy way to go.

Where do you see yourself and what will you be doing with your life after 40?

I hope to have stability and continuity in my career and be entrenched in my community, establishing long lasting personal and professional relationships, all the while prioritizing my family and loved ones.
