LOUISVILLE — Louisville-based CBD company Charlotte’s Web Holdings Inc. (TSX: CWEB) will form a scientific advisory board.
Chief Scientific Officer Marcel Bonn-Miller will lead the effort to form the board, which will guide CW’s “research and development agenda, shape clinical initiatives, and help translate botanical science into impactful, patient-centered solutions,” according to a news release. “The Scientific Advisory Board is expected to commence work in September 2025.”
The board also will help the company develop educational content for health care professionals about the medical applications of CBD.
“The establishment of our Scientific Advisory Board is a critical step in advancing the clinical relevance of hemp-based therapeutics,” Bonn-Miller said in the release. “Our focus is on translating rigorous cannabinoid research into real-world solutions.
